Professor Ing-Jer Huang specializes in IC design and integrating electronic information software and hardware. He has extensive experience in industry-academia collaboration and is passionate about cross-disciplinary integration, teamwork, technological innovation, and humanistic innovation. In recent years, Professor Huang has led a cross-disciplinary team from the Department of Information Engineering and the Department of Oceanography at Sun Yat-sen University to develop an underwater observation device and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. This technology has solved the traditional pain point in shrimp farming and is an excellent example of how AI can be implemented in conventional industries.
