Professor Lu has also demonstrated tangible industrial impact; his research has not only garnered attention in academic circles but has also had practical implications for the industry. In 2021, he received a grant of NTD 22 million from the National Science Council's Innovation Program, leading to the establishment of "AquaFortuna Biotechnology Co., Ltd." In 2023, he was awarded a NTD 21 million grant from the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Technology Development Program for Academia (VC 2.0 Program), resulting in the establishment of "GenderAqua Biotechnology Co., Ltd."
