Dr. Chen Zeng-Weng focuses on One Health research at the Agricultural Technology Research Institute, with a focus on antimicrobial resistance, food-borne pathogens, and vaccine development. He is responsible for the national animal bacterial resistance monitoring project commissioned by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Agency (APHIA). Through research, he gains a deep understanding of the impact of antibiotic use in animals on society, and is committed to promoting the importance of prudent antibiotic use in animals, looking forward to continuing contributions in the field of antimicrobial resistance.
